Title: Intrigue

I do not know what this is
Only that you intrigue me
And have done from the moment we met
You ask what is the source of this intrigue?
And this I do not know
For intrigue is surrounded by mystery
And to know would be to tear the universe at the seams until all crumbled down
Yet intrigue is courted always by curiosity
I need to know what intrigues me so
And so I must ask
Would I subject the universe to certain destruction
Just to be able to look in the eyes and say “I know you”?

I think I would.
