 Title:
						Bring the cup home!

We won it once and we’ll win it again Let’s face it football’s England’s game Victory is ours just like 1966 We’ll win with some headers and lots of free kicks We may be a country of not a great size A lot smaller than USA or Brazil But though they are huge, we’re sure not to loose You’ll find that the score is 4- nil With Beckham and Gerrard and of course our Wayne We’ll take that cup home, through Argentina and Spain And though the match is set in Germany’s walls No luck will come upon it and Germany will fall Everyone’s gone football crazy The shops are doing well Selling flags to put on cars We’re all under a spell The other day walking alone I stumbled across a football home With flags on the windows and flags on the car A flag painted on the garage, this countries bizarre So crack open you’re beers And cheer for our boys Scream ‘You can do England’ And make lots of noise And though I can’t play football The ball hits my face I know we can win it Coz England’s lads are ACE! So do not settle for last place chrome Come on lads, bring the cup home!
