 Title:
						Bruises (Work in progress)

I wear my bruises like medals
To show you what you've done
You polish them with deep freeze
 Secretly pleased
 With what you've achieved

 You give me the arnica
 To help them fade away
 Ready for the next time
 Your fists want their say

 And I'll stand there
 and take my punishment
Not aware of what I've done
 And you'll stand there
 and scream at me
Knowing I'm too scared to run
