Green eyes and brown eyes pass me by,
Lipstick-red smiles, though some frown and sigh,
Stripes and checks full of colours bright –
But just how clear is the colour of Light?

Bright calm blue sky just for me,
It stretches as far as you can see.
Golden warmth from the sun above –
But just what hue is the colour of Love?
