There once was a girl

Who was pretty and thin

Yet her looks could not hold

Her darkness within

Her eyes were just holes

Though they stalked in the night

And her hair used to shimmer

In the cold moonlight

Her youth was misleading

Her talents, advance

And although she had courage

She feared the chance

To escape her fate

To change her stars

So she remained silent

Hid behind her scars.

Her weakness was shown
