 Title:
						Tulips

They came to me in cellophane, tight petalled, leaves furled around straight stems - at strict attention. Their prison torn away they swayed, still shocked, in gleaming crystal soaking up the sun. Then joyously arching themselves in cheerful convolution proud leaves twisted around that crystal vase. Caressing, sweeping sentinels of liberated flowers. Petals, freed at last - laughing jewels curling, spreading throughout each day wove a ballet of perfection until at last, worn out, they lie exhausted - by the crystal on the table.
