Title: “Caffé V, South Bank”

Loud obnoxious you…
“the idea was” - who’s caring (no-one),
who’s staring (me with ‘daggers drawn’),
who’s sharing (that bit of arm candy? who is she anyway)?

must be something in the tap water you’re drinking,
what’s wrong with their cocktails, that’s what I’m thinking,
my joy in ‘a relaxing evening out’ is fast sinking.
Suppose you got the window seat just to be on display?

loud obnoxious you, how much I do not resonate.
I hope being you is not my fortune, not my fate,
I like this place, so do my friends, you I hate,
so why don’t you just go go GO AWAY?
