Title: Cat`astrophe

Cat pepper hasn`t stopped it
nor have cocktail sticks,
The Chili powder didn`t work
nor did the garlic mix.
We then bought bark and laid it down
round our new plants and flora
but that was no deterrent to
that ginger tom explorer.
The special spray we then acquired
we hoped that this would do
but after spreading it around
the cat came back to view.
Orange peel and vinegar
not very good though was it?
the cat returned and scratched it up
and left us a deposit`.
So every day we clear it up-
last visit’s aftermath,
we tip it into plastic bags
and brush the soil strewn path;
it’s getting very tiresome
that cat keeps coming back
perhaps a shot of hose-pipe
might stop it in its tracks.
