I had a stunning greyhound once, she was gentle, fair and shy.
She walked with grace and dignity, entranced the passers by.
When let free to roam in luscious fields of green.
She was by far the fastest thing that I had ever seen.
She ran with wild abandonment, ran with pace and style.
As dizzy as the proverbial blonde it really made me smile.
I loved her very deeply and miss her mischievous ways.My thoughts are with her often as night’s turn into days
