Hi - Jo Knight here - female, mid 40's partnered to Ray - house full of teenagers between us all from previous marraiges - so escaping to write can be both a little difficult and deliciously self indulgent when I make it!  Love all forms of poetry but particularly contemporary stuff - Jackie Kay a particular favourite and Sylvia Plath, (at least the stuff I think I can understand!).  I have been writing on and off for most of my adult life but never had the self belief or determination to try to become 'published' - happy to carry on writing just for me, but the opportunity to share my work with others, get feedback and read what other people are writing is great.  Hope you enjoy some of my pieces and look forward to reading lots from others.
