Title: THE LION SQUEAKS TONIGHT

Grab your fags and your 70's flares

Dirty mags and your stripey deckchairs

Your cricket bats and kiss me quick hats

Sorry boys and girls

But England roars no more

Bring your jubilee mugs and your NHS glasses

Your cosy hearth rugs and your pricey bus passes

We're having a bonfire a funeral pyre

Sorry Mums and Dads

But England roars no more

Say ta ta to roll-ups and ready rubbed

Wave away the fry-ups and that half-cooked pub grub

The people we elected sold us short and let us down

Now theres not a corner left of Englands hard won ground

So sorry bout this children but all thats left to say

Is you are not what you believe and England died today
